D. Brent Jones, General Manager

Brent is a native of Calhoun, Georgia. He has more than 20 years experience as a funeral director, embalmer, cemeterian, and cremationist. Brent believes that funerals should be a completely personal service, arranged around the wishes and desires of each family. When he isn�t working, Brent is an avid reader and traveler. He also enjoys writing and public speaking. Brent is available to meet with families individually, speak to your group or organization, or conduct a tour of our facilities.

Since I came to Augusta in April of 2007, the families I�ve met through Poteet Funeral Homes have reaffirmed the decision I made to move here. The opportunity to be part of this community and this funeral home is one of the most rewarding decisions of my professional life.

Aaron K. Hampton

Aaron joined the Poteet Staff in the summer of 2007. Prior to coming here, Aaron was affiliated with an Atlanta funeral home. Since joining our firm, countless families have expressed their appreciation for his warm personal style. Along with helping families with arrangements at the time of death, Aaron specializes in assisting with prearranged funerals. He is the director of our on-site crematory. In 2008, Aaron received accreditation as a cremation specialist from the Cremation Association of North America.

Debra A. Roberts

Debra Roberts has been part of The Poteet staff since 1985. In her role as the office manager Debra is involved in every part of the funeral home operation. However, it is her direct interaction with the famlies we serve, helping them in the days and weeks after a death and visiting with those who want to prearrange their funeral, that Debra enjoys most. When she isn't working, you can usually find her with her husband, Charles, her three children, or her three grandchildren. Debra is a member of New Covenant Christian Center.
