Mark S. Jones is a 1994 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta,Georgia .A Certified Funeral Service Practitioner , by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, national board certified to practice by the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Board . Licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina as a Funeral Director and Embalmer . A Certified Crematory Operator by the Cremation Association of North America. He has been serving the Augusta and surrounding C.S.R.A. for over 16 years.
Debra A. Roberts Office Manager
Debra Roberts has been part of The Poteet staff since 1985. In her role as the office manager Debra is involved in every part of the funeral home operation. However, it is her direct interaction with the famlies we serve, helping them in the days and weeks after a death and visiting with those who want to prearrange their funeral, that Debra enjoys most. When she isn't working, you can usually find her with her family and enjoying her four grandchildren. Debra is a member of Sweetwater Church of God.

Wendell is a 1975 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA. He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is National Board Certified to practice.
John Bartlett Ambassador
John joined the staff of Poteet's in February of 2013. He has lived in the Augusta area all his life. He is currently on staff of Miracle Baptist Church as minister to the youth, where he stresses the importance of having The Lord in your life as a young age. John enjoys working with the community, whether it's here at the funeral home or in the church. John is married to Deana and has 4 children, Brett, Bryan, Veronica and Courtney.
Jimmy Fronek Ambassador
Jimmy joined the staff of Poteet’s in February 2013. He is a lifelong resident of Augusta. With 34 years of faithful service, he is retired from the Georgia Department of Human Resources. Jimmy is active in his church as an usher, Chief Elder, and Church Councilman. He is married to Carol, his lovely wife of 35 years. They have two children and six grandchildren. They both enjoy spending time with their family.
Linda Hagerty Ambassador
Linda has been working in the funeral industry for over 10 years. After she retired for the Medical College of Georgia, she joined the staff of The Poteet Funeral Home. She assists with office work as well as working visitations and funerals. Linda most enjoys the interaction with the families and friends in the community that she was raised in and feels that working with the staff at Poteet's gives her that opportunity to do that. Linda enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren when she is not traveling or gardening.
